Edna T. Riddle, 76, of Omaha, formerly of Ute, died Saturday, November 19, 1988, in care center in Omaha.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, November 23, in St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ute with Vicar Carl Eckhoff officiating. Burial was in St. Clair Cemetery at Ute. Walter Funeral Home in Ute in charge.

Mrs. Riddle, the former Edna Gosch, was born December 25, 1911, in rural Charter Oak and later moved to a farm near Ute. She married Richard Riddle March 28, 1934, in Ute. The couple farmed in the Ute and Mapleton community. She later resided at Denison for two years and had lived at Omaha the last four years.

Mrs. Riddle was a former member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Ute and Friendship Club of the Church.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Rodney (Eloise) Lansman of Omaha; two sisters, her twin, Mrs. Fred (Esther) Brockman of Charter Oak and Mrs. Erwin (Helen) Knutzen of Ute; a brother, Lawrence Gosch of Mapleton; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
