12 January 2000Onawa, Iowa—Roma J. McMullin, 51, of Onawa died Monday, January 10, 2000 at her residence.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at First Christian Church in Onawa, with the Rev. Donald R. Ludwick officiating. Burial will be in Onawa Cemetery. Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. today, with the family present 6 to 8 p.m. Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa.
Mrs. McMullin was born May 12, 1948, in Onawa, the daughter of Donald M. and Lena E. (Karr) Gross. She attended Onawa High School and Stewart’s Hair Styling in Sioux City.
She was employed at Vicki’s Beauty Shop from 1990 to 1997, then had her own beauty shop at her residence.
She was a past president of Ladies Auxiliary at the Eagles Lodge and a member of Tri-River Archery Club.
Survivors include her husband, Richard W., two daughters and their husbands, Stacey and Jamie Allen and Treva and John Lee, all of Onawa; five grandchildren, Bill, Lena, Olivia, Taylor and Devin; and two brothers, Dillard and Jeffrey Gross, both of Onawa.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Barry.
