Emma Lucy Davidson Thomas

Emma Lucy Davidson Thomas, 92, of Huntington Beach, Ca, passed away February 15, 1997, at the hospital in Fountain Valley, CA.

Mrs. Thomas was born July 10, 1904, the daughter of George Richard and Susie May (Barker) Bidwell in Onawa, Iowa. She married LeRoy Davidson and to this union seven children were born. After the death of her husband she later married Jack Thomas of Little Sioux, Iowa, and one daughter was born. They moved to California and she lived there the remainder of her life.

She is survived by four daughters, Levone Leff and her husband, Roy Burdette, of Marysville, WA, Bonnie Peroutka and her husband, Victor, of Richmond, VA, Marlene DeStories and her husband, Walt, of Laguna Niguel, CA, one son, Dr. Richard L. Davidson and wife, Jean, of Duncanville, TX, nine grand children and eleven great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sons, Raymond, Darrell and Tommy. Memorial services were held on March 1, 1997 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Laguna Beach, CA. remains will be interred in the Onawa Cemetery.
