The remains of Alfred Dugdale brother of Fred Dugdale of this city arrived here on Monday from Colorado and were buried in the family lot at the Onawa Cemetery where short services were conducted.

Alfred John Dugdale, second son of Henry and Susanne Dugdale was born at Longcombe, Devonshire, England, in 1871 and passed from this life on the 27th day of July, 1939 at the age of 68 years. He was a member of the Church of England and came to America in the year of 1892. He worked at his trade as a blacksmith for a short time. Later with his brother he moved on a farm in Sherman Township where he farmed with them successfully for a number of years. Later he moved to Colorado where he built up a home of his own. After a few years he lost his health and has been confined in the Pueblo State Hospital for 41 years. He leaves to mourn his death seven brothers and two sisters.

They are Fred of Onawa, Annie of Devonshire, England; Charley of California; George of Huron, S.D.; William of South Dakota; who preceded him in death, Florence of Blue Springs, Mo., Samuel of Akron, Iowa; Arthur of Modale, Iowa; Edwin of Barnum, Iowa and Thomas of Huron, S.D.
