16 November 2000Harold L Dugdale, 77, of Lincoln, Nebraska died November 9, 2000 at Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Mr. Dugdale was born January 19, 1923 at Modale, Iowa. He was a graduate of Modale, Iowa High School.
He was retired, his employment position was a Sale Manager of Toledo Seale Co.
He was a member of V.F.W. Post #131, American Legion Post #3, DAV/Lifetime Member, Lincoln Masonic Lodge No. 54 A.F. & A.M. Scottish Rite Temple, Sesostris Temple, and Fraternal Order of Eagles.
His military career was in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He served on the U.S.S. Brown DD546, Asiatic South Pacific Battles of Tarawa., Guam, Guadual Canal, Okinawa Phillipines, Iwa Jima, 13 Battle Stars, Presidential Citation for Okinawa, Phillipine Medal.
Survivors include a wife, Dorothy; daughters, Judy Havranek of Omaha, Cindy Burnett of Lincoln, Nebraska; brother, Dale Dugdale of Sioux City, Iowa, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by parents; two brothers, Gordon and Robert.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, November 15, 2000 at Wadlow Rozanek Colonial Chapel, 5200 R. St. Lincoln, Nebraska. Grave side services will begin at 3:30 P.M. on Wednesday at Onawa Cemetery in Onawa, Iowa. On Tuesday visitation begins at noon with family receiving friends from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Burial will be in Onawa Cemetery at Onawa, Iowa with Military Grave side Services.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society, Suite 104, 7441 O St. Lincoln, Nebraska 68510.
Arrangements were under the direction of Wadlow Rozanek Colonial Chapel, 5200 R. St. Lincoln, Nebraska 68504.
