Dora J. Ham, 63, Onawa, Iowa died Monday, August 17, 2009.

Dora Jane was born January 8, 1946 at Onawa, Iowa, the daughter of Robert Harrison and Helen (Moore) Allen. She was raised in Onawa.

Dora and Jimmy Fox were united in marriage December 1961 and later she married Bill Ham.

She was a licensed CNA and worked several years at Pleasant View Care Center at Whiting, Iowa. She enjoyed crocheting, needle point, plastic canvas, crossword puzzles, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children and their spouses, Russel and Marybeth Fox of Blencoe, Iowa, Joseph and Shannon Fox of Onawa, Jeremy and Kris Fox of Whiting, Daniel and Tracy Fox of Webster City, Iowa and Jamie Fox and her fiance Jim Needham of Mesa, AZ; 10 grandchildren, Michael, Laura, Cody, Jenny, Kayla and Katie Fox, Wyatte Wilson, Mike Wulf, Kyli Theeler and Blayne Needham; a great-granddaughter, Alison Theeler; three sisters, June Ottman of Onawa, Sandy Davis of Castana and Joyce Allen of Glenwood, Iowa; a brother and his wife, Floyd and Patty Allen of Onawa and her companion, Marlowe Tipton of Walthill, Ne.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jimmy Fox and Bill Ham, her parents; a son, Blaine Fox; a brother, Raymond Allen and a brother-in-law, Roger Davis.

A memorial service was 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 19, 2009 at Rush Family Care Service with Rev. Angela Gafford Asmus officiating. Music selections were “Dance”, “I Can Only Imagine” and “Angels Among Us”. Honorary bearers were Dora’s grandchildren.
