23 December 2009Daniel L Turner, 62, passed away December 16, 2009 at Trinity Hospital in Fort Dodge, Iowa. He was born January 8, 1947 at the Onawa Hospital to Clifford and Shirley Zortman Turner. He went to school in West Monona. He made his home in Rolfe, Iowa. He enjoyed fishing and hunting.
IN 1966 he married Ida Hollowell, to this union two sons were born, Brian of Lincoln and Donald William of Sioux City.
In 1998 he married Joan Peterson.
He is survived by his wife Joan; his sons Brian and Donald; a sister Pam Turner of Onawa; his mother Shirley of Onawa; three grandsons, Brandon, his special friend Molly Stenger, Anthony and Ethan Turner of Rush City, MN.\; two great grandchildren, Annika and Dominic Turner of Blaine, MN.
He is preceded in death by his father, Clifford Turner.
Graveside services are being officiated by Father O’Kane.
