Mrs. J.W. Thompson of Castana, passed away Friday at the State Hospital in Iowa City where she had gone for treatment. The funeral services were held on Tuesday from the Community church in Castana conducted by Rev. H.B. Hawthorn. Burial was made in the Kennebec cemetery. Ida Randall was born at Ponca, Nebr. 63 years ago and was the daughter of Joseph and Emma Randall. She became the wife of J.W. Thompson 49 years ago. Surviving her is the husband, two sons a daughter, a grandson, besides three sisters and one brother.
