OMAHA, Neb. -- Jeanne Woodward passed away June 6, 2009, at the age of 60 years young in Omaha where she made her home for the last 26 years. She was formerly from Mapleton, Iowa.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Armstrong Funeral Home, Mapleton with Monsignor Mark Duchaine officiating. Burial will be in the parish cemetery with a luncheon to follow in the church basement. Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. today with the family present after 4 p.m. and a Vigil Wake Service at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Jeanne was born Nov. 20, 1948 in Sioux City, Iowa. She greatly enjoyed working in her yard with her flowers. She had built lifelong friendships through her career with the Teamsters Union and her passion for golf. She also had many cherished friendships that she nurtured throughout her life.

She is survived by her beloved family; son and daughter-in-law Jason and Julie Woodward and adored grandson Tyler Woodward of Omaha. She is also survived by her loving brothers, sisters, and their spouses; Steve and Julie Morgan, Jerry and Deb Morgan, Tom and JoAnn Morgan, Larry Morgan and Dawn Dede, Kathy Morgan and Rick Gillespie, and Mary and Jeff McIntyre, and friend and former husband Larry Woodward. She is also survived by many caring aunts, uncles and cousins. She was the adored aunt of Richard and Jon Morgan; Megan, Charlie and Colin Morgan; Danie Goerke and Andy Morgan; Jeremy, Jessica and Jennifer Morgan; Jesse and Alex McIntyre.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Evelyn Morgan.
