Vi E. Trizila, 60, of Ottumwa, Iowa and formerly of Sioux City died Feb 20 at her home after a brief illness.

Mrs. Trizila, the former Vi Blades was born Jan. 28, 1924 at Whiting, Iowa. She married Johnnie Trizila in August 1942 at Pender, Nebr. They lived in Sioux City for several years before moving to Ottumwa.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Johnnie Jr. of Richardson, Texas; two daughters, Linda Patterson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Nancy Ward of Indianapolis, Ind.; her mother, Faye Blades of Onawa, Iowa; four brothers, Wayne and Everett Blades, both of Sioux City, Bryon Blades of Denver, Colo., and Lawrence Blades of Omaha, Nebr., two sisters, Lilla Paulsen of Council Bluffs, Iowa and LaMaine Boutin of Springvale, Maine, and four grandchildren.

Services and burial were Thursday at Ottumwa.
