Hinton, Iowa—Margaret “Peggy” Thoreson, 52, of rural Hinton, died Friday shortly after arrival at a Sioux City hospital of injuries sustained in an automobile accident southeast of Hinton.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Trinity Lutheran Church, six miles east of Hinton. The Rev. Jerome Hahn will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Visitation is from 3-9 p.m. today, with family present after 7 p.m. at Nelson-Berger Northside Chapel.

Mrs. Thoreson, the former Margaret Ann Kisling, was born Nov. 21, 1933, in Castana where she was graduated from high school. She married Gerald Thoreson on Sept. 27, 1952, in Sioux City and the couple made their home in the Hinton area. She was a dietary aide at Marian Health Center in Sioux City.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Lynette of Sioux City; two sons, Norman of Lawton, and Craig of Hinton; two brothers, Fred of Castana and Russell of Sioux City; five sisters, Mary Kisling and Phyllis Dobrovolny, both of Castana, Marjorie Dinger of Salt Lake City, Utah, Alice Humphreys of Pennsville, N.J. and Elva Wyant of California; and three grandchildren.

A memorial is being established in her name at Trinity Lutheran Church.
