Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Mathison Larson, 63 years old, who died Sunday at her farm home between Ticonic and Castana, following a lingering illness, were held at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon at Ticonic. Interment was in Grant Cemetery under the direction of the Byers Funeral Home.

Mrs. Larson was born in Denmark. She was married to Ole Larson June 1, 1890 at Castana. She spent most of her life near Castana. She was a member of the Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her widower, two sons, Roy of Gilmore City, Iowa and Charles of Castana; two daughters, Miss Laura Larson and Mrs. Ray Carroll, both of Castana; six grandchildren, two brothers and two sisters, all residing in Denmark. One son preceded her in death.
