Roy King Anderson, Onawa, Iowa, died at Elmwood Nursing Home in Onawa on March 10, 1986. Death came at the age of 80 years 5 Months and 20 days.

He was born at Ticonic, Iowa, on September 20, 1905, the son of Franz and Mabel (Allen) Anderson. He married Isabel Melton on April 6, 1961, at Onawa. The couple farmed near Kennebec until 1976 when they moved to Onawa.

Mr. Anderson was a member of the First Christian Church in Onawa.

Survivors include his wife, Isabel; four brothers, Harold O and Albert, both of Onawa and Alan of Sioux City and Charles of Tucson, Ariz.; a sister, Mrs. Wayne (Beulah) Roberts of Onawa, a stepson, Frank Melton of Bend, Ore.; four stepgrandchildren and seven step great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services were held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 13, 1986 at the Pearson Funeral Chapel at Onawa with Rev. Jerry Quandt officiating. The organist, Mrs. Vince Phillips accompanied Rev. Jerry Quandt who sang "In The Garden.

Bearers were James Johnson, Charles Clemmensen, Bernard Farber, Ralph Miller, Orville Ives and Barry Dumond.

Interment was in Grant Township Cemetery at Rodney, Iowa with arrangements by te Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa, Iowa.
