Obituary of Little Kathryn Irene Cole

Kathryn Irene Cole was intrusted to the care of mortals May 29th 1920 and was summoned in the providence of God to the care of the infinite May 27th 1922.

Plucked as a bud yet unfolded to bloom where the sun of righteousness is risen.

Why Kathryn was taken we cannot understand but God in his wisdom sent his angels to pluck a flower to bloom in sweetness and beauty in the golden streets above. "Death loves a shining mark" we are told and this time it has centered on a lovely child. The flower of the home is gone but not forgotten. She is safe in the arms of Jesus and we doubt not that she is happy amid those harmonies which make up the music of the heavenly sphere.

She leaves father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. George Cole and one brother, Robert Edward whose hearts will be sad and lonely.

From the other shore her little hands will be beckoning come.

The body was tenderly laid to rest in the Onawa Cemetery, Monday afternoon.

Funeral services were conducted from the Onawa Christian Church at 2:30 in charge of Rev. C S Kleckner.
