Mrs Chris Thompson

Mrs Chris Atwood Thompson, a former resident of Whiting, Iowa passed away on September 28, 1973 at a Bellflower, California hospital. She had reached the age of 87 years 7 months and 28 days.

Mrs Thompson, the former Vivian Atwood, was born January 20, 1886 at Whiting. Mr Thompson preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs Raymond (Pauline) Baker of Bellflowers, Calif; a sister, Mrs Etta Vandestouwe of Whiting; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

Graveside services were held at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 2, 1973 at the Whiting Cemetery. Rev Thomas Guenther officiated and Wood Funeral Home of Whiting had charge of arrangements.
