Services Held For Louis Castle

Louis J Castle, 84, died at his home at Sioux City on Thursday, July 8, 1976 of an apparent heart attack.

Mr Castle was born July 6, 1892 near Mapleton. He later moved to Ticonic. He married Hazel Fuller on August 23, 1916. The couple farmed in the Ticonic area before moving to Sioux City in 1942.

Mr Castle had been employed by Kay Dee Feed Co, Washington Coal Co and Tower Company.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Howard and Albert, both of Sioux City; two daughters, Mrs Allen (Emma) Anderson of Sioux City and Mrs Edward (Viola) Hoverman of Azuza, California; one brother, James of Rodney, 25 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 12 at the W Harry Christy Funeral Home at Sioux City. The Reverend Erwin Osterberg of the Bethel Baptist Church officiated.

Burial was at the Grant Township Cemetery.
