Roseland Kennedy, 64, passed away on June 22, 2006 after a long illness. Roseland was born in Mapleton, IA on October 28, 1941 to Vernon and Monica Sasges. She moved to Mesa, AZ from Bellevue, NE 6 years ago and was a member of the Queen of Peace Catholic Church.

Roseland is survived by her mother Monica Smith; son and daughter-in law Mark and Helen Kennedy; stepson David; stepdaughters Jody and Lori; sister Patricia and husband Jerome Moore; sister Colleen Marley; sister Sheryl and husband Tom Moyers, brother Richard Sasges and brother Wayne and wife Sherry Sasges; 15 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Roseland was preceded in death by her husband David Kennedy and her father Vernon Sasges and sister-in-law Doris Sasges.

Visitation and rosary were held at Messinger Mortuary Sunday, June 25, 2006 and funeral Mass was at Queen of Peace Church on June 26, 2006 in Mesa, AZ.
