Mrs LaVera F Terry, 73, 2511 Boies St, died Monday, Febr 4th in a hospital in Onawa, Iowa after a brief illness.

Services were at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in the Anderson-Perasso Funeral Home. The Rev M Dwight Walker, pastor of the First Christian Church in Moorhead, Iowa, officiated. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs Terry, the former LaVera F Hogeboom, was born July 20, 1911, at Murdo, SD. She married MIllard F Terry April 7, 1932 in Onawa. They farmed in the Blencoe and Belmont, Iowa, areas for many years and came to Sioux City from Moorhead in 1952. Mr Terry died December 18, 1972, in Sioux City. She worked at St Joseph Hospital for many years and retired in 1977.

Terry was of the Christian Faith. She worked at St Joseph Hospital for many years and retired in 1977.

Mrs Terry was of the Christian Faith. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary of South Sioux City.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs Lorna J Thorngren of Sergeant Bluff and Marvis E Terry of Glenwood, Iowa; a son, Marvin Edward of San Diego, Calif; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
