Elnora Van Dyke, 71, of Jefferson, SD, formely of Sioux City died Thursday, May 25, 1995 at a Sioux City Hospital following a long illness.

She was born August 24, 1923, at Castana, Iowa, the daughter of Thomas and Neva (Boslaugh) Hall.

She attended Castana High School and then moved to Sioux City. She graduated from Ellis School of Cosmetology in 1970 and Sioux City Barber College in 1980. She married Harry Van Dyke September 12, 1970 in Jefferson, S.D., where they made their home.He died April 22, 1991. She was employed as beautician at Matney Westside Manor.

Mrs Van Dyke was a former member of the Methodist Church in Merrill, Iowa and a member of the Tuesday coffee club in Jefferson.

Survivors include sons Leslie Bledsoe and his wife, Betty, Larry Blesdsoe Sr and Ronnie Bledsoe all of Sioux City, two daughters, Sally and her husband, Rollie Burr of Sioux City and Connie Bledsoe of Jefferson, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parenrts, two sisters Ruby Woody and Lavina Kruse and two brothers Hubert and Elvin Hall.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 31, 1995 at the Berkemier Funeral Home, Sioux City, with sister Josita Schwab officiating.

Burial was in St Peters Cemetery in Jefferson SD.

Mrs Van Dyke is a niece of Ima Collison of Blencoe, Iowa.
