Paul H Ingram, 69, of Mapleton, Iowa, died Saturday, August 16, 1997 at Burgess Memorial Hospital in Onawa, Iowa.

Mr Ingram was born October 25, 1927, in Onawa, Iowa, the son of Harold Jennings and Eva Maude (Harsh) Ingram. He graduated from Mapleton High School in 1945. He drove for Lou Smith Tank Wagon and later for Persinger Tank Wagon. He worked at Wilson Trailor in Sioux City and Sioux City Brick and Tile Company in Sergeant Bluff, Iowa.

He had lived in Rodney, then for 25 years at Onawa and the last two years at Mapleton.

Survivors include two sisters, Margaret and her husband, Jim Weidman of Aurora, Illinois, and Gertrude Ingram of Sheridan, Illinois; two brothers and their wives, Roger and Kay Ingram of Mapleton, Iowa and Newell and Janice Ingram of Danbury, Iowa; nieces and nephews; and an aunt, Mildred Kron of Whiting, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Dorothy Hanks.

Funeral services were at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 19, 1997 at the United Church of Christ, Rodney, Iowa with Rev Karen Handke officiating. The pianist was Mrs Rodney Meadsen and the soloist, Mr Jack Steinhoff, sang the selections, "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden"

Casketbearers were Jim Davis, Leonard Hansen, Bill Hagerdon, Gib Persinger, Don Forney and Lowell Aldrich.

Interment was in Grant Township Cemetery, Rodney, Iowa with arrangements by Willman Funeral Home, Rodney, Iowa
