16 Oct 1980Ray A Harsh, 84, Rodney, Iowa died September 24, 1980 at Countryside Retirement Home in Sioux City, Iowa.
He was born December 17, 1895 near Moorhead, Iowa to George and Anna Wickersham Harsh. On March 4, 1920 he was united in marriage to Lela Hollister in Sioux City, Iowa. He had lived and farmed around Rodney for 80 years.
He was a member of the Billy Sunday Memorial Tabernacle in Sioux City, Iowa.
Survivors include his daughter, Mrs John (Verna) Inman of Smithland, Iowa; one brother, Walter Harsh of Onawa, Iowa and two granddaughters.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a,m, Saturday, September 27, 1980 at the Willman Funeral Chapel, in Rodney, Iowa with Rev Eldor Wilkens officiating. The organist was James Sewell and Mrs Judy Lockwood sang.
Casketbearers were William Carlson, Earl Hines, Cal Servis, Wilfred Eichhorn, Jack Krusen and William Fouts
Interment was in Grant Township Cemetery in Rodney, Iowa
