WHITING, Iowa - Jennie Bernice Greenstreet, 93, of Whiting, formerly of Castana, Iowa, died Monday, Feb. 14, 2000, at Pleasant View Care Center in Whiting.

Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Willman Funeral Chapel in Rodney, Iowa. Burial will be in Grant Township Cemetery.

Mrs. Greenstreet was born Feb. 24, 1906, in Armour, S.D., the daughter of Alonzo and Cora (Crum) Mills. She attended school in Armour.

She married Delmar Greenstreet on Nov. 18, 1933, in Dakota City. They lived on a farm in Ticonic, Iowa. She did baby-sitting and worked as a cook with Castana Community School. He died in Aug. 17, 1969. She entered Pleasant View Care Center in 1996.

She was a member of Ticonic Methodist Church and Ticonic Quilting Club. She enjoyed crocheting.

Survivors include three sons, Raymond of Harcourt, Iowa, Harvey of Sioux Falls, and Loyal and his wife, Phyllis of Derby, Kan.; a daughter, Lois Mae Jensen of Smithland, Iowa; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a sister, Merle Hanson of Sioux Falls; a brother, Leonard Mills of Armour; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Margaret Cora Greenstreet; two brothers, Oliver and Earl Mills; and four sisters, Alta, Edith, Nora and Ethel.
