MAPLETON, Iowa - Arlene Alberta "Bert" Leisinger, 61, of Mapleton died Wednesday, March 24, 1999, at Horn Memorial Hospital in Ida Grove, Iowa.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Armstrong Funeral Home in Mapleton, with the Rev. Kevin Huss officiating. Burial will be in Grant Cemetery, rural Rodney, Iowa. Visitation will be after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Mrs. Leisinger was born Oct. 12, 1937, in Correctionville, Iowa, the daughter of Eldon and Ellie (Bell) Webb. She attended Oto and Danbury, Iowa, public schools.

She married Freddie Leisinger on May 19, 1956, in Onawa, Iowa. The couple lived in Mapleton. She was employed with various businesses in Mapleton.

She was a member of American Legion Loren Hollister Unit 496 of Mapleton. She enjoyed dancing, gardening and fishing.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters and their husbands, Linda and Mike Wimmer of DeSoto, Mo., and Lana and the Rev. Kevin Huss of Alta, Iowa; six grandchildren, Ryan, Shelley and Craig Wimmer, Jason, Jenni and Josh Huss; a great-granddaughter; her parents, Barney and Ellie Mohrhauser of Danbury; three brothers, Eldon Larry "Pidge" and his wife, Jan Webb of Aurora, Colo., Mike and his wife, Carol Mohrhauser of Ida Grove and Rex Mohrhauser of Onawa; and two sisters, Bonnie and her husband, Richard Sohm of Lead, S.D., and Mary Mohrhauser of Waukee, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Pallbearers will be Ryan and Craig Wimmer, John Huss, Rick Archer, Denny Wacheldorf and Russ Reed.
