Terry Alan Knutson, 36, Seattle, WA, formely of Soldier, IA died Monday, May 11, 1992 at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, WA.

He was born October 10, 1955, at the Deering Hospital in Onawa, Ia to Wyland and Marilyn (Cue) Knutson. He was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith in the Soldier Lutheran Church. In 1974 he graduated from East Monona High School. Upon graduation he went to Boone, Ia and worked in an awning factory. In 1976 he moved to Sioux City where he worked in various packing plants. In August 1977, he was united in marriage to Vicki Hill. To this union one daughter, Heidi was born. Four years ago he moved to Seattle, WA where he worked in the shipyards.

He leaves as survivors; his daughter, Heidi, of Odessa, TX; his parents, Wyland and Marilyn Knutson of Soldier; one brother, Steven and his wife, Pam of Boone, IA; one sister, Shelley Hester of Brooklyn Park, MN; two nieces; three nephews; and a number of other relatives and friends.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, May 18, 1992 at the Soldier Lutheran Church at Soldier, IA with Rev. Thomas R Hagen officiating. Mrs Ivan Gibbs, the organist, played "Beyond The Sunset" and accompanied the congregation in singing "Amazing Grace".

Casket Bearers were Kenneth Cue, Ronald Cue, Dwight Swenson, Joe Lee, Roger McDole and Doug McDole.

Interment was in the Soldier Lutheran Cemetery with arrangements by the Pearson Funeral Home, Soldier, Iowa
