Death Came At Last

Mr and Mrs Fritz Bartels of Cooper Township Lose a Son

The three year old baby boy of Mr and Mrs Fritz Bartels of Cooper Township, whose skull was mysteriously fractured some seven weeks ago, died last Friday as a result of the injury. The suffering of the little one was intense throughout its long siege of illness and the care and watchfulness has fallen heavily upon the fond parents, who were at last called upon to give up their baby. Rev. Waking of the German Lutheran church conducted the funeral services, Sunday, and the interment was made at Newman's Cemetery. Flowers in great profusion were presented by neighbors and friends for which the family ask us to return thanks, and also to all others who so kindly lent aid and sympathy in their hour of trial and bereavement.
