Mrs Lena Johnk Taken By Death

Funeral Services Are Held Saturday Afternoon In Danbury M E Church

Funeral services for Mrs Lena Johnk, 73 year old Ida Grove resident who passed away Wednesday of last week in her home were held Saturday afternoon in the Danbury Methodist Church with Rev. G H Hawn, pastor of the church, officiating.
Interment was in Otto Cemetery, near her old home, under the direction of the Moore Funeral Home of Ida Grove.

Mrs Johnk made her home in the vicinity of Danbury many years. She had been failing in health since August.

She is survived by seven children, Gus Johnk of Milo, Alberta, Canada, Fred Johnk of Oto, John Johnk of Hood River, Ore., LeRoy Johnk, Mrs Mabel Wonder and Mrs Mamie Ferry of Ida Grove, and Mrs Chris Albertsen of Danbury.

She also is survived by 11 grandchildren, 3 brothers and 3 sisters. Her husband preceded her in death.
