Lille--Thursday evening, November 30, 1899 at her home in Cooper Township, occured the death of Mrs Margaret Lille, aged 68 years.

Mrs Lille was a native of Germany, but resided in this country the greater part of her life and has lived in this county the past eighteen years,coming here from Clinton County. Her kind and loving nature and sturdy upright life won for her the everlasting friendship of all with whom she associated and no one with her quiet, home-loving disposition ever enjoyed the esteem and confidence of her large circle of friends and neighbors more than did Mrs Lille.

Death came from nervous prostration after a lingering illness extending over one year. She leaves an aged husband and nine children, five sons and four daughters to mourn her departure.
Funeral services were conducted from the house Sunday afternoon by A.C. Lutze of Sioux City, the burial taking place at the Newman Cemetery near the home. The funeral was largely attended by sympathizing friends and relatives
