Whiting--Mrs Pearl Hansen Thompson, 50, wife of the pastor of the Whiting Congregational church, died Sunday, March 20, 1955 at the Onawa Hospital after a long illness.

Funeral services were held at two p.m. Tuesday at the Whiting Congregational Church with Rev E A Buschman of Ellsworth, Minnesota officiating, and on Wednesday at Dannebrog, Nebr with Rev Eugene Wekander officiating. Burial was also made at Dannebrog, Nebr.

Mrs Thompson was born May 7, 1904 at St Paul, Nebr. She was a graduate of the Dannebrog public schools. She attended Hastings College, Hastings, Nebr and later taught school for a number of years.

Rev Thompson began his ministry at Dunlap, Iowa, moving to Avoca, Iowa and later returning to Dunlap. He has been pastor of the Whiting Congregational church since 1943.

Survivors are the widower; 2 sisters, Mrs Mina Christensen of Dannebrog and Miss Mable Hansen of Julesburg, Colorado and a brother, Rev H E Hansen, pastor of the Presbyterian church at Colorado Springs, Colorado
