Fay Crabb, 86, Blencoe, Iowa died Friday, November 30, 1979 at Burgess Memorial Hospital, Onawa, Iowa after a brief illness.

He was born November 11, 1893 at Little Sioux, Iowa to Charles and Ella Brooks Crabb. On December 25, 1913 he married Mary Lightwine at Pisgah, Iowa. She died January 24, 1929. On October 3, 1935, he married Zora Vredenburgh at at Pisgah, Iowa. He farmed in the Little Sioux and Pisgah areas until 1954 when he moved into Blencoe where he owned and operated a grocery store until 1965. He was a member of the Blencoe Community Club.

He is survived by his wife, Zora; three daughters, Mrs Harold (Charlene) Niles, Pisgah, Iowa, Mrs Earl (Dona) Perry, Blencoe. Iowa and Mrs Max (Myrna) Sell, Fresno, California; one son, Eldred, Goshen, Ohio; one sister, Blanche Crabb, Hamburg, Iowa; 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, December 3, 1979 at the Pearson Funeral Chapel in Onawa with Elder John Lizer officiating. The organist, Mrs Robert Collison Jr, played the selections "Country Roads" and "When The Snow Is On The Rose."

Bearers were Robert Collison, Robert Collison, Jr., Tim Comfort, Ron Cutler, Ralph Stoll and Dwayne Harms.

Interment was in the Little Sioux Cemetery, Little Sioux, Iowa with arrangements by the Pearson Funeral Home of Onawa, Iowa.
