Mapleton, Iowa-- Special: Mrs Pearl Erlwine, 82, longtime resident here, died Friday at an Onawa, Iowa, hospital after a long illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Walter Funeral Home here. The Rev Byron Ayers, paster of Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Heisler Cemetery.
Mrs Erlwine was born April 16, 1882, in Mapleton and was married to Frank Erlwine at Hinsdale, Mont in 1915. They moved back to Mapleton about two years later. He preceded Mrs Erlwine in death.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include several nieces and nephews, including Mrs Fred Rounds of Mapleton, who the deceased lived with the past three years.
