Minnie M. Ehlers (nee Minnie Christiansen) was born May 12, 1904. The early years of her life were spent in Soldier, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Raymond Ehlers in Canton, South Dakota and to this union was born one daughter, Shirlee Kaye.

After living and being employed in Onawa, Iowa, she moved to Marshalltown, Iowa, where her daughter then was teaching. In January of this year, Mrs. Ehlers submitted to surgery at the Marshalltown Community Hospital Est. After recovering she moved to Dallas, Texas to live with her daughter.

Mrs. Ehlers passed away at St. Paul's Hospital in Dallas on April 9th. Funeral services were held April 12th at the Soldier Lutheran Church and interment was at the Soldier Lutheran Church Cemetery.
