Albert Harvey was born September 19, 1891 at Whiting and passed from this life at Burgess Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 13, 1971. Death came at the age of 79 years.

January 31, 1917 he was united in marriage with Josie Thomas at Omaha, Neb. To this union three sons and two daughters were born. Mrs. Harvey preceded him in death June 26, 1963.

He had been a resident of Onawa for the past 11 years. Prior to this time he had made his home in Whiting and Sloan.

Survivors include three sons, Cleo H. of Kalispell, Mont., Donald H. of Newport News, Va. and James of Smithland; two daughters, Mrs. Johnny (Eva Mae) Nelson of Whiting and Mrs. Ted (Patty Lou) Porter of Sandwich, Ill.; three brothers, Walter of Sloan, Wallace of Whiting and Clyde of Milbrae, Calif.; one sister, Stella Benner of Council Bluffs; 18 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren; and a number of other relatives and many friends.

Services were held at the Wood Funeral Chapel in Whiting at 10:00 a.m. MOnday, May 17 with Rev. Everett Epperson officiating.

Casket bearers were William (Bud) Gulick, Vernon Myers, Howard Myers, Charles Kelly, John Low and Edwin Carlson. Interment was in Hite Cemetery near Whiting with Wood Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
