Eva Maude, daughter of George and Anna Harsh, was born September 5, 1898 at Turin, Iowa and died at the Willow Dale Nursing Home at Battle Creek, Iowa on Friday, December 24, 1971 after a long illness. She had reached the age of 73 years.
At the age of 4 she moved with her parents to a farm at Rodney, Iowa. She graduated from Rodney High School and was married to Harold Ingram at Onawa, Iowa on October 16, 1924.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one granddaughter.
She is survived by the widower, Harold of Onawa; three daughters, Mrs. Dale (Dorothy) Hanks of Moville, Mrs. James (Margaret) Weidman of Aurora, Illinois, Miss Gertrude Ingram of Joliet, Illinois; three sons, Paul of Onawa, Roger of Mapleton and Newell of Danbury, Iowa; eleven grandchildren and three great grandchildren; three brothers, Leon of Nylon, California, Ray of Rodney and Walter of Onawa, Iowa.
Funeral services were held Monday, December 27, 1971 at 2:00 p.m.at the United Church of Christ in Rodney with Rev. H.A. Smidt officiating. "Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden" was sung by soloist, Darrell Larsen accompanied by Mrs. Harriet Hackett at the organ.
Pallbearers were James McDonald, James Cleveland, Franz Cleveland, Max Smith, Lowell Aldrich and Leonard Vaught.
BUrial was in the Grant Township Cemetery near Rodney, Iowa.
