Donald Lee Richardson was born at Onawa, Iowa on November 18, 1939 and passed from this life in Omaha, Nebr. on February 26, 1972. Death came suddenly, he had reached the age of 32 years.
Don served for four years in the United States Air Force. The past few years he has served as a drag line operator. He was an exceptional worker, always ready to do his job and to go even further than asked, He was very highly respected by his fellow workmen.

On April 8, 1962, he was united in marriage with Judy Beers at Little Sioux, Iowa. To this union four children were born; three girls and a boy all at home in Onawa.

He was associated with the First Chriustian Church in Onawa.

Survivors include his wife, Judy, daughters, Sheila, LuAnn and Carlann and son David; his parents, Mr and Mrs George Bowman of Onawa; two sisters, Mrs. William Harl (Shirley) of Percival, Iowa and Virginia Bowman of Onawa; five brothers, Kenneth, Charles and Keith of Onawa, Guy at Whiting and Larry of DesMoines, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his father, Walter.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday, February 28, 1972 at the First Christian Church in Onawa with Rev. Everett Epperson officiating. Mrs. Orland Ferris was the organist. Bearers were Charles Myers, William Harris, Thomas Shook, Eesley Miller, Marvin Keller and Jerry Birk. Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery with arrangements by the Pearson Funeral Home in Onawa.
