Leo Anthony Ramsey, 3437 Drexel St. , Omaha, Nebr, passed away at an Omaha hospital on Thursday, November 4, 1971. Death came at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 14 days.

He was born January 20, 1902 at Blencoe, Iowa, the son of William S. and Bessie E. Ramsey,
On September 18, 1924 he was united in marriage to Rose Ruth Franke at Onawa and to this union seven children were born.

The family moved to Omaha in 1943 and Mr. Ramsey was employed in a packing house there until his retirment a few years ago.

Survivors include his wife, Rose of Omaha; 2 daughters, Mrs. Velma Sears and Mrs. Virginia Queen, both of Omaha; 5 sons, William, Floyd, Herbert, Joseph and Vernon all of Omaha; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; his father, William Ramsey of Onawa; 1 brother, William Harrison Ramsey of Onawa, and 4 sisters, Hazel Holbrook, Evanbeline Beebe and Maxie Ramsey all of Onawa and Esther Ralston of Hawthorne, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his mother, one brother; two sisters and a step daughter.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, November 6, 1971 at the Pearson Funeral Chapel in Onawa with Capt. David Yount of the Salvation Army ifficiating. Mrs. Orland Ferris sang, "Shall We Gather At The River," accompanied by Clara Kelley. Bearers were Wayne Roberts, Clifton Roberts, Roberts Bellis, Roy Bellis, Art Rodman and Carl Rustin.

Interment was in Graceland Cemetery at Blencoe, Iowa with arrangements by the Pearson Funeral Home of ONawa.
