Mrs. Marie Brown, 88 of 712 W. Washington Ave, Council Bluffs, Iowa died Friday October 22nd, at a Council Bluffs, Iowa hospital after a short illness. Mrs. Brown lived around Turin, Castana and Onawa from 1920 until 1961 when she moved to COuncil Bluffs. She was the widow of Fred Brown who passed away at Onawa July 5, 1949.
Survivors include; four daughters, Mrs. Myrthel Charleson of Anaheim, Calif; Mrs. Maysel Focht of Glendale, Calif; Mrs Iona Palmer of Greswold and Mrs. Dorothy Tawzel of Harrisburg, Oregon; two sons, Earl of Denver, Colo. and Elmo of Little Falls, Minn; a sister, Mrs. Pauline Stocker of Council Bluffs nine grandchildren and many great great grandchildren. One son Harold preceded her in death in 1937.
Services were held October 26th at the Meyer Funeral Home in Council Bluffs, Iowa
