David Marquez Rodriguez, Mexico City, Mexico, passed away April 25, 1972 as a result of an auto accident about six miles south of Blencoe, IOwa. He had reached the age of 12 years and 11 months.

David was born in Mexico City to Rafael and Gloria Rodriguez and was traveling with his family with a unit of the Shrine Circus.
Survivors are his parents; a sister, Gloria; 4 brothers, Rafael, Carlo, Gerardo and Daniel, all with the family; and two grandmothers, Mrs. Sarah Rodriguez and Mrs. Manuela Borroel, both of Mexico City.

The rosary was recited on Wednesday evening, April 26 at the Pearson Funeral Chapel in Onawa with Father R.P. Wieling of Salix officiating. Mass was said at St. John's Catholic Church on Thursday morning, April 27 at 9 a.m. by Father Wieling. Bearers were Kenneth Stangel, Delbert Heisterkamp, Howard Zortman, Ken Kunce, Ray Low Jr and Jim Paseka.

Interment was in the Onawa Cemetery with the Pearson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
