Dwight A. Nuessle, a former Onawa resident, passed away at his home in Chicago on April 26, 1972 at the age of 75 years.

He was born in Onawa on July 21, 1897, the son of Jacob and Mollie Nuessle and graduated from the Onawa High School. Following his graduation from college, he was employed by the Continental Bank of Chicago until his retirement about 15 years ago.

Survivors include a niece, Mrs. Marven (Kathryn) Olsen of Sioux City and two nephews, John Coffey and Jerry Coffey both of SIoux City.

Graveside services were held at the Onawa Cemetery at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 1972, with the Rev. William Bessmer officiating. The Pearson Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
