MOORHEAD, Iowa -- Amy C. Beall, 84, of Moorhead died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2002.

Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Moorhead Christian Church, with the Rev. John Ellers officiating. Burial will be in Spring Valley Cemetery in Moorhead. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Rush Family Care Service in Onawa, Iowa.

Amy Caroline (Swanson) Beall was born July 5, 1918, in Sioux Township, Monona County, Iowa, the daughter of Augustenos and Agnes Marie (Johnson) Swanson. She attended grade school at Swanson School near her home, and graduated from Pisgah High School in 1936.

She married Cloyce Glen Beall on Sept. 13, 1936, at her parents' home near Moorhead. They had three sons, Harley, Nelson and Roger. Cloyce passed away Nov. 5, 1985, at Onawa.

Amy was a lifetime member of Moorhead Christian Church, CWF and Jolly Pastime Club. She was a member of Moorhead Eastern Star. She enjoyed her garden, flowers and cross-stitching.

Survivors include two sons and their wives, Harley and Ruth Beall and Nelson and Carol Beall; a daughter-in-law, Lois Haines; eight grandchildren, Glenn, Paul, Lance and Connie Beall, Bonnie Hanson, Pamela Hudgell, Jennifer Haines and Shelly Hovey; 10 great-grandchildren, Laura, Amy, Catherine, Elizabeth, Gina, Sheila and Evalyn Beall, Jaymison and Delaney Coffelt and Emily Hovey; three sisters, Mary Green of Pisgah, Vivian Davis of Oregon, and Joyce Lloyd of California; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Roger; a sister, Helen Swanson; and a brother, Curtis Swanson.

Pallbearers will be Frank Archer, Kelly Coberly, Earl Hinrichsen, Marvin Hinrichsen, Clayton Holverson and Maynard Holverson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Moorhead Christian Church or Moorhead Rescue Unit.
