Services Held for Mrs. C "Birdie" Sullivan

Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine "Birdie" Sullivan. 88, of Whiting, Iowa, who died Wednesday in the Onawa Hospital after a long illness were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Wood Funeral Home at Whiting. Rev Dwight Snesrud officiated and burial was in the Whiting Cemetery.
Mrs Sullivan was born July 30, 1872, at Sloan and lived in the Sloan and Whiting vicinities all her life. She was married to Edward Sullivan, August 20, 1919, at Lincoln, Nebraska. He preceded her in death. She was a member of the Whiting Methodist Church and the Whiting Chapter Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include 2 step-daughters, Mrs. Lola Pratt of Sloan and Mrs Ruby Sparks of Mankato, Minnesota.
