Mrs Leo Redmond Passed Away December 22nd

Services for Mrs Leo Redmond, 75, who passed away Thursday at the Onawa Hospital following a brief illness were held at 2 p.m Saturday at Albaton. Burial was in the Church Cemetery under the direction of the Wood Funeral Home of Whiting.

Mrs Redmond was born January 31, 1885 at Albaton and was married to Mr Redmond October 21, 1909 at Sloan. They farmed near Sloan and in South Dakota before coming in 1935 to Monona County where they have lived ever since.

Mrs Redmond was a member of the Skein Lutheran Church.

Survivors include the widower, six sons, Leland, Raymond and Lowell all of Onawa, Gale of Sloan, Glen of Portsmouth, NH and Marvin of Castana, two daughters, Mrs Helen Carlson of Sloan and Mrs Vivian Livermont of Wanblee South Dakota: 7 grandchildren: 3 sisters, Miss Girtie Brandon, Mrs Amelia Johnson and Mrs Alice Parker of Sloan.
