Frank Althoff Jr., 42 of Onawa, died Tuesday in a hospital at Onawa.

Services will be at 1:30 pm Thursday at the First Christain Church. The Rev. Everett Epperson will officiate. Burial will be in Onawa Cemetery under direction of the Pearson Funeral Home.

Mr. Althoff was born June 3, 1939 at Onawa and graduated from the Onawa High School. He was paralysed in a diving accident at the age of 16. He operated a communication center at Onawa for the police department, fire department, local physicians and various businesses.

He was a member of the First Christian Church.

Survivors include his father, Frank Sr., of Onawa; one brother, John of Onawa; and one sister, Mrs. Richard (Sandra) Swain of Soldier.
