Clyde N. Leach

Clyde N. Leach was born September 17, 1900 at Castana and passed from this life in the Swedish Hospital in Minneapolis, Minn. On February 12. Death came at the age of 67 years, 4 months, 25 days.

He had been a resident of Sioux City for the past 30 years. Just about nine weeks ago he moved to Rosemont, Minn to make his home with his son, Robert.

He served the Cudahy Packing Co. until retirement a few years ago. He was united in marriage with Ethel Kassing. Clyde was a member of the West Third Presbyterian Church of Sioux City.

Survivors include his son, Robert of Rosement: a daughter, Mrs. George (Audrey) Johnson of Las Vegas, Nev.:two brothers, Clarence Leach of Reno, Nev., and Roy Leach of Omaha, Neb: two sisters, Mrs. Lars Anderson of Dunlap and Mrs. George Bonham of Little Sioux: six grandchildren: number of other relatives an many friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 16, at the Pearson Funeral Chapel, Onawa. Rev Everett Epperson officiated. Mrs. Orland Ferr sang “The Old Rugged Cross” and “In the Garden,” accompanied by Mrs. Clara Kelley at the organ.

Casket bearers were Lloyd Bothwell, Donald Bothwell, Oscar Hanson, Oscar Larson, Skid Leonard and Clarence Leonard. Interment was at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Sioux City.

Arrangements were by Pearson funeral home of Onawa.
