On Tuesday morning at 4 o’clock occurred the death of Mrs. Mary Leach at the Wm. Leach farm four miles south of town. Mrs. Leach was 86 years, 6 months old and had resided in this vicinity for the past twenty-seven years. She was the mother of nine children, six of whom survive her. The funeral was conducted from the home by Elder W. Dickerson and the remains brought to Mount Hope cemetery and interred beside the husband whose death occurred some years ago.
