MOORHEAD- Leo Dale Hull, 81, of Moorhead died Sept. 29 at Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha.
He was born in Willow Township in Monona County, attended Willow country school and graduated from Dunlap High School in 1933. He farmed in Willow Township and moved to Moorhead in 1985. He was a member of the Moorhead Christian Church, served on the church board and as a deacon. He served on the Willow Township, Moorhead Community and East Monona school boards, the Dunlap Savings Bank Board and Moorhead and Soldier Co-op boards and was a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Hull and his wife, Edna (Melby), were married 58 years.
Survivors in addition to his wife include four daughters, Mrs. Steve (Judy) Houston, Mrs. Phil (Nancy) Meadows and Deb McAllister, all of Moorhead, and Mrs. Tom (Linda) Pithan of Ute; three sons, Jim of Bloomington, Minn., Ronnie and George, both of Moorhead; three sisters, Ruby Smith of Fenton, Mrs. Robert (Ruth) Roberts of Dunlap and Mrs. Bill (Etta) Torpy of Crystal, Minn.; a brother, Frank, of Denison; 16 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
A prayer service will be Thursday at 7 p.m. at Fouts Funeral Home in Dunlap. Funeral will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. at the Christian Church in Moorhead with the Rev. John Eilers officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Dunlap.
