Funeral services for Mildred Melby of Dunlap were held Wednesday afternoon, Oct. 16, 1996, at St. John Lutheran Church in Dunlap. Rev. Paul Fohs officiated at the 2 p.m. service. Interment was made at Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Dunlap. Fouts Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mildred was born May 5, 1920 at Dunlap and died at the age of 76 Sunday, Oct. 13, 1996, at Rose Vista Nursing Home in Woodbine.

Survivors include two daughters, Lois Rudd of Dunlap and Joan Gau of Omaha, Neb.; daughter-in-law, Sylvia Melby of Logan; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Pearl Honaker of Neola, Rose Johnson and Lillian Pedersen of Prophetstown, Ill.; two brothers, Les Pedersen of Denison and Charles Pedersen of Des Moines.
