Howard E. Henderson of Cedar Rapids Passed Away Recently

Word has been received of the death of Howard E. Henderson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Mr. Henderson was born July 17, 1884, at Ticonic, Iowa, and spent the most of his early life at Rodney, where he attended school and was associated with his father in the Hardware and Furniture business. He married Harriet Dorward of Turin, Iowa, in March of 1910 and they went to Fremont, Nebr., where he began his career in the real estate and farm management business. The couple later lived at Omaha and Manchester, Ia., moving to Cedar Rapids in 1918.

Survivors besides the widow include a daughter, Miss Genevieve Henderson of Cedar Rapids; three brothers, Ralph A. and Harold W. of Sioux City and Edgar of Altadena, Calif.; and two sisters, the Misses Jessie and Helen Henderson of Billings, Montana. Elmer Blackburn of Onawa is a cousin of Mrs. Henderson and the Carters of Whiting are Mr. Henderson's cousins. Funeral services were held Monday in Cedar Rapids.
