7 February 1907William D. Laurence at his home in Muscatine, Iowa, January 28, 1907 at the age of 80 years. His relatives in the vicinity of Mapleton are two daughters, Mrs. Martha Ernst, and Mrs. Joseph Uhl, and a numerous grand and great grand children. There are yet four generations of this long-lived family residing in this vicinity, namely: Mrs. Martha Ernst, daughter: Mrs. Isidor Uhl, grand daughter: Mrs. Lewis Boeche, great grand daughter: and Leo and Richard Boeche, great great grand sons.
