Etta May, oldest daughter of Willian and Ella Rounds was born in Kennebec, Iowa, January 14, 1880 and died in her home at Sioux City on March 4, 1917.

In 1899 she was married to Fred E. Taylor, of Onawa. To this union was born one daughter, Lucille, who survives her mother. She also leaves her father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Wm Rounds, of Onawa, also six brothers, Theodore J, of Kingsley: William E. of Akron: Marcus H. of LeMars: Jesse G and Ira G, of Sioux City and Fred, at home also one sister, Mrs. LeRoy Mergell, of Los Angeles, California.

Etta May’s death is the first break in the family circle and all were present at the funeral except the sister, who could not reach here.

Funeral services were conducted from the Methodist church at 2 o’clock Tuesday by the pastor.
