Mrs. Anna Christensen Dies at Age 78 Years.

Mrs. Anna Christensen, age 78 passed away Saturday at Onawa. She was a former resident of Harlan for the past 73 years until coming to Onawa last October to live with her daughter. Mrs. Gladys Hoogensen. Mrs. Christensen was born February 23, 1876 at Davenport, Iowa. A member of the Evangelical Lutheran church of Harlan. She was married to C.S. Christensen at Harlan on June 26, 1896. He preceded her in death.

Survivors besides Mrs. Hoogensen are Viola Drenk of Onawa,:Miss Betty Christensen of Milwaukee, Wisc.: and Mrs. Lelah Stivers St. Louis. Mo: Four sons: Edgar, Edward, Calvin and Rolland, all of Milwaukee, Wisc.: one brother: 11 grand children and one great grand child. Funeral services were held at Harlan, Iowa and burial at Jacksonville, Iowa
